Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

This policy explains what information RTPDS ("rtpdns", "we", "us") collects when you visit rtpdns.com, contact us or use our DNS service, and what we do with it. We collect as little as we can.

Our website

The contact form

When you send the form, we receive what you enter: your name and email address and, if you provide them, your company, domains and message. Web3Forms delivers the form to our email. We use what you send only to reply to you and to set up your service, and keep it for as long as we need it for that and for our business records.

Our DNS service

How we share it

We don't sell or rent personal information, or share it for advertising. These service providers help us run rtpdns, and process information only to provide their services to us:

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect rtpdns, our customers or others from abuse.

Where it's stored

Our servers are in the United States. Our service providers may process information in other countries.

Security

Only our administrators can log in to our servers, using SSH keys. Zone transfers are signed with TSIG keys, and our hidden primary, which holds all our zones, accepts nothing from the internet except DNS NOTIFY messages.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your personal information, correct it or delete it, or to stop using it, by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or California's privacy law, and we'll honor them as those laws require. If you're in the EU or UK, we use your information to provide the service you ask for, and for our legitimate interest in running and protecting it.

Children

rtpdns isn't meant for children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We'll post any changes here and update the date above. For significant changes, we'll also email our customers.
